STIHL recalls a limited production range of

  • Brushcutter STIHL FS 80, FS 85 and FS 85 R

  • Pole Pruner STIHL HT 75

  • KombiAttachmentEngine STIHL KA 85 and KA 85 R

  • KombiEngine STIHL KM 85 R

    
STIHL has ascertained, as a part of regular quality checks, that in a limited number of the above-mentioned STIHL machines the flywheel may have cracks. Failure of this component during the live time of the machine would pose a projectile hazard to the user or a bystander. As a responsible manufactur-er, STIHL has therefore decided to recall and repair the mentioned machines.

A damaged flywheel cannot be detected by a visual inspection!
