The STIHL electric shredder GHE 140 L is perfect for carrying out shredding work in places where low-noise working is necessary. The powerful motor is characterised by its robustness and smooth operation. The blade assembly on the garden shredder operates at low speed and is therefore ideal for shredding medium quantities of hard clippings. The wide cloverleaf opening allows you to feed thick branches and twigs up to a thickness of 40 mm into the roller shredder with ease. The efficient cutting roller shreds them into valuable compost in an instant and operates quietly with minimal vibrations. The shredded branch material falls directly into the integral shredder bag. Transport handles make the 60 l grass catcher box easy to carry and empty. The STIHL GHE 140 L reduces the volume of your woody clippings and creates space for new growth. A folding mechanism allows you to lower the electric shredder into the integrated shredder bag in just a few steps to save space.

    The transparent shredder bag is built into this silent electric shredder. It can hold up to 60 litres of clippings and has recessed grips for practical handling. For your safety, the STIHL garden shredder can only be operated when the catcher box is inserted correctly.

    The cloverleaf opening in the feed chute makes it easier to feed branch material into the STIHL garden shredder and ensures maximum operating safety. Even branch material with side shoots and twigs can be fed easily into the wide opening and shredded efficiently. Soft clippings can be inserted through the adjacent rectangular opening on the garden shredder.

    FOR EFFICIENT AND QUIET SHREDDING. The robust roller shredder results in material being thoroughly and quietly shredded. It pulls in branches and twigs at just 40 revolutions per minute, meaning it works very thoroughly and quietly. Automatic backfeed ensures that jammed branches and other bulky cuttings are easily released. This allows you to work safely, efficiently and quietly with your garden shredder. Roller shredders are suitable for woody material, but not for soft green matter such as trimmings from perennials.
