STIHL recognizes its 2020 Suppliers of the Year
STIHL has honored five companies with its 2020 Supplier of the Year award. Among all STIHL suppliers around the world, these five stood out for their outstanding attributes in terms of quality, technology, innovation, service, and price/performance ratio. In his speech thanking them, Martin Schwarz, STIHL Executive Board Member for Manufacturing and Materials, stressed how valuable good and reliable partnerships have been over the past year in particular. “Thanks to your extraordinary dedication, your outstanding reliability and excellent collaboration, we have managed to maintain our production despite the very tense and challenging situation,” Martin Schwarz said in his speech. “We have grown our revenue by 16.5 percent in 2020 and significantly increased our unit sales.” The importance of good and longstanding supplier relationships at STIHL is not least reflected in the repeated recognition of specific partners: Of the five honored companies, some have already received the awards three (Nittan, Radici) or four (Sonax) times. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the winners received the award via a digital video message, as in the previous year.

Manufacturer and bottler of cleaning agents, bottler of engine oils
STIHL has been honoring the best suppliers for their outstanding performance every year since 1990. To date a total of 111 suppliers have received this distinction, some of them multiple times.
