Printing the model number
Paint booth.

At the end of the bar production line, we now arrived at the paint booth. This finishing line for coating, printing and packing of the guide bars is the final stage in our complete in-house production process.

The guide bar and its associated chain are specifically adapted to the chainsaw to complete the device and ensure optimum performance.
The coating process is very different to the mechanical processing stages. How do you ensure process reliability? The only solution is to employ highly qualified personnel who have learned the many requirements. We therefore pay special attention to continuous training. In your bar production, the paint booth is just one processing stage. How many are there in total? We have 16 processing steps. That demands highly diversified know-how from all people involved. It also presents us with the challenge of mastering the many processes involved while ensuring constant optimization and matching of the different operations. There is always a lot of information printed on the bars. Is that also applied by painting? No, the name of the bar is printed. Other important information, such as groove width, number of chain links or the part number is permanently engraved by a laser, which lasts longer than any painting method. What does the term "curtain coating" mean? The bar is fed at constant speed through a vertically flowing film of paint. We call this film "paint curtain", it ensures uniform coating. This process is extremely environment-friendly, because no paint is lost.
