The STIHL electric motor (EC) has no carbon brushes, virtually no mechanical wear and a convincing efficiency that far surpasses conventional electric motors. Stored energy is thus converted into power as effectively as possible.

The two-stage axial fan works like a blower system to ensure that the machine delivers a large volume of air at high speed.

All the motor controls and the safety locking lever are operated by one hand. That makes for easy, reliable operation for both right-handed and left-handed users.

The locking lever is a safety component whose role is to lock the blower. That prevents the machine starting up unintentionally when the battery pack is inserted.

The switch lever enables the speed to be infinitely adjusted so that the air flow and blowing intensity can be controlled according to requirements. The motor stops immediately when the switch lever is released.

The housing has smooth surfaces and rounded edges to prevent snagging on the machine or catching on objects. The blower repels most dirt and is easy to clean.

The cordless blower can be hung up on the wall by the practical hanging loop for space-saving storage.
