Optimum weight

The diecast magnesium engine housing and stainless steel muffler ensure an optimum power-to-weight ratio and long service life.

Easy to maintain and service

The new long-life air filter system with pre-separation extends the filter life for as much as five times longer than on the MS 260. This newly developed HD2 filter is made from water and oil-repellent polyethylene filter material with up to 70% finer pores than fleece and polyamide filters and is very easy to clean. The PET-covered round filter cartridge with quick-release lock enables the filter to be assembled and disassembled in next to no time, without using tools.

Powerful, clean, economical

Good cutting performance, plenty of lugging power and up to 20%* fuel saving, all thanks to the innovative 2-MIX engine with stratified scavenging. What's more, it produces less pollution. Good news for everyone who thinks ahead: it already complies with the 2012 EU II exhaust limits.
