The STIHL RM 655 V petrol-driven lawn mower is a real all-rounder: its multi-blade makes it adept at cutting, catching and mulching.  With a 53 cm cutting width and Vario wheel drive, this lawn mower is a good choice for comfortable and efficient work on large lawns. The stroke rate of the powerful engine always remains constant, even when changing speed. Seven-level central cut-height adjustment, which can be adjusted from 25 to 85 mm, ensures a precise cutting pattern. The RM 655 V has a folding, 3-setting height-adjustable mono comfort handlebar for ergonomic lawn mowing and easy handling of the grass collection box. The collection box has a volume of 70 litres and includes a fill-level indicator so you know when it needs emptying.     FLEXIBLE MOWING AND MULCHING. The multi-blade allows you to mow and mulch without changing the blade. The specially shaped blades shred the cut grass. Then you decide whether the grass should be transported into the collection box via air flow, or further shredded and distributed evenly over the green area to become a nutrient-rich fertiliser.

    The plastic grass catcher box can be easily opened and emptied thanks to its folding mechanism. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures a high degree of filling. Thanks to the downward-facing vanes, the air is guided sideways towards the ground, preventing dirt from being thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying. The airflow generated by the blade raises the level indicator. When the basket is full, the airflow stops. If the airflow is too low, the level indicator returns to its idle state and this is an indication to empty the catcher box. Optimal airflow is required in order for the level indicator to function fully. External influences such as wet, dense or tall grass, a low cutting height, contamination, etc. may affect the airflow and the performance of the level indicator.

      STIHL Smart Connector

      The STIHL Smart Connector forms the basis for using all STIHL connected functions. These functions can be used via both the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connect Portal. Once correctly attached to a STIHL power tool or another manufacturer’s power tool, the STIHL Smart Connector records operational hours while the machine is running, stores them and transmits them to your smartphone via Bluetooth as soon as it is within range. The data received in the STIHL connected App is transferred to the STIHL Cloud when there is an internet connection. The data is stored there in compliance with data protection regulations.
