GHE 450

The STIHL GHE 450 is the most powerful electric garden shredder and all-rounder in the STIHL shredder range. It offers a versatile solution for shredding both large quantities of tree and hedge cuttings as well as green cuttings and plant trimmings. Hard shredding material and soft clippings can be fed into separate openings on this garden shredder. For longer branches, you can simply use the folding feed chute. The twin-chamber system with special shredding blades always achieves consistently high results, whether shredding thick branches or soft leaves and flowers. The sandwich-type blade unit operates with extreme efficiency and minimal vibrations. It is driven by a powerful high-voltage motor that transfers power smoothly. Aside from power, versatility and comfort, safety is also one of the main strengths of the blade shredder. A One click/One turn safety switch is integrated in the closure screw on the housing exterior and stops the motor immediately when turned. The STIHL GHE 450 is equipped with transport wheels and is easy to move to the required location.

    ENABLES IMMEDIATE ENGINE STOP. With the one-click/one-turn safety switch, you can immediately stop the engine of your garden shredder with just one movement. The switch-on button and the safety switch are integrated together in one of the closing screws on the device.
