GHE 250 S

The STIHL GHE 250 S electric shredder is designed for regular shredding of bulky twigs or medium-sized branches and hard hedge trimmings. It offers a balanced combination of throughput rate and mobility. Its sandwich-type blade unit with pre-shredders, shredding blades and reversible cutting blades can turn even thicker branches with a diameter of up to 35 mm into fine shredded material. The Multi-Cut blade unit is driven by a powerful electric motor, which draws in material through the noise-insulated feed chute quietly and with low kickback. You can also shred soft green cuttings and leaves with this garden shredder, giving you a nutrient-rich mix to turn into compost. The STIHL GHE 250 S can be tilted in just a few simple steps and then conveniently moved to its next place of use on its transport wheels.

    MAKES FILLING THE SHREDDER EASY. The large, noise-insulated feed chute makes it easier to fill your STIHL shredder. It also reduces work noise when shredding in the garden. The integrated splash guard shields you from any swirled-up pieces of shredded material.

  • SAFETY CLOSURE Zoom
    SAFETY CLOSURE

    PREVENTS INADVERTENT START-UP. The safety lock is integrated into the opening mechanism of the garden shredder. As soon as you open the closing screws of the power tool, the safety switch is activated and the power flow is interrupted. This prevents the power tool from starting unintentionally during maintenance work or blade changeover, for example.

    The Multi Cut 150 cutting system on the STIHL electric shredder consists of a soundproofed blade disc with sandwich construction and reversible cutting blades. The sandwich-type blade unit is ideal for shredding medium-sized branches.

      AHB 050 Sturdy 50 l grass catcher box

      The STIHL shredder bag AHB 050 collects shredded tree cuttings and green cuttings directly under the shredder. The self-standing grass catcher box has a capacity of 50 l and was developed for tough everyday work. It can be used to carry even larger quantities of shredding material with ease. It is available as an optional accessory for most STIHL garden shredders (with the exception of shredder models GHE 135 L, GHE 140 L, GHE 420, GHE 450, GH 460, GH 460 C).
