STIHL appoints Günther Gaßlbauer as new Executive Board Member Human Resources, IT and Legal Affairs
As of 1 September 2009, Günther Gaßlbauer will take over as the board member re-sponsible for human resources, organization, information technology, law and patents. Gaßlbauer is a graduate in business administration and comes from engineering company Putzmeister, where he was appointed to the board in 2006. He was previously head of the personnel department of a large BMW plant in Germany. This was preceded by 13 years of experience with a supplier to the automotive industry in a number of different positions in human resources at home and abroad as well as in management in Germany and the U.S.
STIHL’s former Executive Board Member, Human Resources, IT and Legal Affairs, Dr. Peter Dürolf, resigned his post by mutual agreement. The partners and supervisory board expressed their thanks to him for his valuable work.
