STIHL receives visit from the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, HE Bozidar Djelic

In the course of a state visit, the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Bozidar Djelic, was a guest at STIHL in Waiblingen on 15 December. He is also the Minister of Business and Finance and was welcomed by Hans Peter Stihl, chairman of the STIHL advisory board, and Dr. Bertram Kandziora, chairman of the STIHL executive board. During a working lunch the discussions concerned the economic development of Serbia and STIHL’s business commitment on the Serbian market. Dejana Todorovic, the general manager of ITH, STIHL’s importer in Serbia, reported on the current situation on the market.

STIHL has been active in Serbia since 1995 and has cooperated successfully with general importer ITH for many years. STIHL chain saws and brushcutters, but also VIKING garden tools, are very popular among Serbian users. Hans Peter Stihl sees further enormous potential in the country: “On the whole, the Serbian market offers good prospects for STIHL and VIKING products. We are therefore planning to further expand our product range and want to appeal not only to the professionals but also private users, to a greater extent than before. Furthermore, we intend to enlarge our dealer network.“
