STIHL Chairman of the Executive Board Dr. Bertram Kandziora reappointed

In their latest meeting, the advisory board of STIHL AG unanimously reappointed Dr. Bertram Kandziora for another five years as Chairman of the Executive Board. Hans Peter Stihl, General Partner of STIHL Holding AG & Co. KG and Chairman of the Advisory Board of STIHL Holding AG & Co. KG stressed: "By this early reappointment shareholders and Supervisory Board express their special esteem and appreciation for the successful job Dr. Kandziora has been doing."

The new term of office begins on February 1, 2007 and ends on January 31, 2012. Dr. Bertram Kandziora joined the STIHL Group on February 1, 2002 as Vice President Production and Materials. On March 27, 2003 he was appointed Speaker of the Executive Board. From July 1, 2005 the advisory board appointed Dr. Kandziora Chairman of the Executive board which consists of four members in total. At the same time he is still responsible for the department 'Production and Materials'.
