STIHL grows and increases employment by 10% worldwide
The STIHL Group grows even stronger in 2005, topping last year's 6% growth in turnover. From January to August of the current year, STIHL achieved sales of € 1.21 billion representing a growth of 10% in com-parison with the same period last year. This increase in turnover is pri-marily due to higher sales volumes. Fluctuations in the exchange rates had only a minor effect (+0.4%) on turnover.
