Six suppliers receive awards from STIHL Waiblingen-based ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG honored six suppliers with its "Supplier of the Year 2003" award in May. ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG is one of the leading manufacturers in the world of chainsaws and also produces a broad range of other outdoor power tools, including brushcutters, trimmers, cut-off machines, blowers and sprayers. The six prizewinning suppliers are among some 300 companies throughout the world from which STIHL currently purchases production materials and components. The certificates that go with the awards were presented at a special ceremony in May by Dr. Bertram Kandziora, Spokesman of the Board of Management and Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Materials, of ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co.
