Five suppliers receive awards from STIHL Waiblingen-based ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. honoured five suppliers with its "Supplier of the Year" award in May. Three of the five companies have their head offices in Germany, two in Japan. ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. is the world market leader in chainsaws and also produces a broad range of other outdoor power tools, including brushcutters, trimmers, cut-off saws, blowers and sprayers. The five prizewinning suppliers are among some 300 companies throughout the world from which STIHL purchases production materials and components.
