Harald J. Joos appointed chairman of STIHL AG The supervisory board of STIHL AG has unanimously appointed Harald J. Joos as chairman of the board of STIHL AG as from July 1, 2002. Mr Joos is currently chairman of the board of Schindler Deutschland Holding GmbH in Berlin. He will succeed Hans Peter Stihl, who had proposed him for the position to the supervisory board.
