The STIHL 2-MIX engine

The STIHL 2-MIX engine with a displacement of 42,6 cm³ and a power output of 2,3 kW combines one cylinder with efficient four-port engineering and stratified scavenging. The results are convincing: high torque across a wide speed range. The two-stroke engine saves up to 20 % of fuel and reduces emissions by up to 70 % compared to STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology.

STIHL M-Tronic (M)

The STIHL M-Tronic (M) electronic engine managementb regulates the ignition timing and fuel metering in all operating conditions, taking into account external conditions such as temperature, altitude and fuel quality. It consistently ensures optimum engine performance, constant maximum engine speed and very good acceleration.

Combi-lever with stop button function

With STIHL M-Tronic, MS 241 C-M only needs one start position on the combi-lever for a cold start. You can run the saw at full speed straight away. Thanks to the stop button function, the control lever immediately moves back into the operating position after the machine is turned off. This allows a warm machine to be restarted immediately.

STIHL ElastoStart

The special shock absorber grip STIHL ElastoStart reduces the starting power required. This makes it easier to start the chainsaw, thus saving your strength.

Long-life air filter system with air routing and HD2 filter

The long-life air filter system with air routing makes the MS 241 C-M impresses with particularly long filter service life. The polyethylene (PET) HD2 filter keeps fine dust away from the engine, greatly extending the service life.

STIHL Ematic System

Compared to conventional bars without Ematic, the STIHL Ematic system reduces the consumption of chain lubricant by up to 50%, depending on the type of wood and the cutting attachment used. As a result, virtually every drop of chain lubricant is delivered to exactly the right spot.
