Power and longevity

NEW: the long-life air filter system with air routing and HD2 round filter

Keeps on working exactly where you want it: the STIHL MS 362 C-M chain saw delivers an impressive filter service life. Larger dirt particles are removed early on via the air routing, relieving the actual filter of a significant burden. The filter itself is made from polyethylen, with up to 70 % finer pores than conventional filters, stopping even the most minute dust particles. It's also easy to clean since it can be fitted and removed without tools. Dealing with stubborn dirt is easy too, because the filter can be thoroughly cleaned using a STIHL special cleaning agent or warm soapy water.

STIHL 2-MIX engine

Raw power, half the emissions: the highly economical STIHL 2-MIX engine combines a cylinder with efficient four-channel technology and a stratified charge system. This ensures that fuel is optimally combusted, delivering a high torque over a wide range of speeds – with up to 50 % less exhaust emissions and up to 20 % less fuel consumption compared to STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology.

Easy and efficient

STIHL ElastoStart and decompression valve

Twice the power: the decompression valve is combined with ElastoStart to reduce the tractive force on the starter cord, making starting that much easier. The decompression valve does this by reducing the compression when starting the tool.

Professional anti-vibration system

Steady as she goes: the anti-vibration system reduces vibrations with a buffer system as well as special springs between the engine block and the handles – for less tiring, more precise work.

Quick locks

The hood can be removed quickly and easily via three quick locks, making it easy for you to clean and service the air filter, spark plugs and cylinder fins.

NEW: Secured nuts

You'll never again lose the nuts in the sprocket cover when changing the cutting attachment, now that they are connected to the sprocket cover itself.
