Starting - step by step

The safety instructions (including those in the User Manual) must be observed during each of the following steps.

Step 2 of 15: Remove the scabbard

Go to a certain step in the instructions

1. Apply the chain brake 2. Remove the scabbard 3. Press the decompression valve (if installed) 4. Actuate the fuel pump (if installed) 5. Set the slide control to Choke 6. Place the chainsaw on the ground 7. Hold the chainsaw with both hands 8. Pull the starter rope 9. Engine briefly starts - set to half-throttle 10. Pull the starter rope again 11. Blip the throttle trigger with your index finger 12. Lift the chainsaw off the ground 13. Deactivate the chain brake 14. Check chain lubrication 15. Off you go
