What's the correct way to hold the machine?

Before you can actually start cutting, some initial preparations need to be made. It's important that your harness sits correctly so that the machine is perfectly balanced, for effortless, enjoyable working. We show you in the points below the things you need to bear in mind.

First put on the harness. The spring safety hook should be roughly a hand's width below your right hip.

Slip the spring safety hook over the eye to hang the machine at your side.

Adjust the handles and slide the eye along the shaft until the brushcutter is perfectly balanced. The cutting tool should barely touch the ground. The ideal cutting angle is achieved automatically when the machine is perfectly balanced.

The brushcutter is correctly positioned if your arm is slightly bent with the wrist extended. Please refer to your instruction manual for special information about the circular saw blade.
