Kickback tendency
Kickback is one of the most dangerous situations which occurs when the moving saw chain near the upper quadrant of the bar nose contacts a solid object or is pinched. STIHL saw chains with 3-hump tie straps have been optimized with regard to reducing their kickback tendency.
