Guide bar types
STIHL guide bars are designed and built for a whole variety of requirements and uses. There are two basic types: Rollomatic® bars with sprocket nose and the exceedingly robust Duromatic® solid bars.
STIHL Duromatic® E
Duromatic E guide bars are exceedingly robust. They are made of extremely tough solid steel. The bar tip is protected by a carbide alloy plating. These bars are used in extreme conditions, such as in the building trade or by emergency rescue crews. For machines with middle to high power ratings.
