Our STIHL BioPlus chain oil is gentle on the environment, but a powerful lubricant. Exceedingly eco-friendly and uncompromising in terms of lubrication and adhesion, our vegetable-based high-performance lubricant displays its strength in moderate and hot climates. In addition, it is completely degraded in the ground within a very short space of time - and has been awarded the "Blue Ecology Angel" in return.

STIHL BioPlus chain oil has been specially developed to lubricate high-speed saw chains. For an organic oil based on vegetable oil, it displays an exceedingly low tendency to resinify.
Protection even in the toughest conditions.
Special adhesion and action additives ensure very good protection for the bar and chain - even when briefly subjected to the highest thermal loads. Smoke does not form, not even in heavy duty. The very good flow properties are maintained even at temperatures as low as -15 °C.
Kind to the environment.
STIHL BioPlus chain oil has almost the best resistance to oxidation of all chain oils based on rape oil. It displays virtually no resinification even after prolonged stoppages and clearly surpasses the requirements and serviceability criteria of the Blue Ecology Angel. It is biodegradable, classed as non-water-pollutant and therefore suitable for use in water protection areas and ecologically sensitive regions.
