Japanese Red Pine (Pinus densiflora)
Densely flowering pine, often bent or crooked, with a wide and irregular habit. The needles are moderately long and sharply pointed. The long cones are pinkish-brown or purple.

Short-stemmed ovate to conical pendent cones, up to 5cm long. Thin scales, with flat scale leaf.
