Fragrant Viburnum (Viburnum farreri)

The Fragrant Viburnum is a fragrant nutrient-loving variety that grows up to 2 m high. It can be planted alone or in groups in nutrient-rich soil, also in country gardens. Suckering. Intolerant of excessively dry or hot locations. Berries, leaves and bark are poisonous for humans.

Leaves are green above, pale green and slightly hairy below, tough-skinned. Arcuate feathery veining. Particularly decorative red (violet) autumn colouring. Leaves are poisonous for humans.
