Dr. Peter Pretzsch leaves the company
Dr. Peter Pretzsch will be leaving the STIHL Group at his own request on April 30, 2018. He has been Managing Director of VIKING, the Austrian garden power tool manufacturer and a subsidiary of STIHL Group, since 2011. He had previously occupied leading positions at the STIHL parent company in Waiblingen. “I would like to thank Dr. Pretzsch for his many and varied services to the company and for the successful collaboration during his 28-year tenure with the STIHL Group,” commented Dr. Nikolas Stihl, Chairman of the STIHL Advisory and Supervisory Boards, as he wished him all the best for the future.
Dr. Clemens Schaller will take over as new Managing Director of VIKING GmbH on May 1, 2018; Wolfgang Zahn, the current Executive Board Member for Product Development, will take on his STIHL duties until further notice.
