    STIHL ElastoStart

    STIHL ElastoStart reduces the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting. The compression shock is taken away from the user's joints and muscles through a spring or rubber element in the starter handle.

  • STIHL 2-MIX engine with stratified charge system Zoom
    STIHL 2-MIX engine with stratified charge system

    2-stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel-free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions.

    HD2 Filter

    The HD2 filter, made from polyethylene filter material, has pores that are up to 70% finer than those of fleexe and polyamide filters and therefore eliminates even the finest dust. In addition, it repels oil and water and is therefore very easy to clean. The PET filter cartridge can be removed and inserted without tools.

    Anti-vibration system

    Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to longer-term effects of blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL have therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles allowing for more comfortable and safer operation.

      STIHL Smart Connector

      The STIHL Smart Connector forms the basis for using all STIHL connected functions. These functions can be used via both the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connect Portal. Once correctly attached to a STIHL power tool or another manufacturer’s power tool, the STIHL Smart Connector records operational hours while the machine is running, stores them and transmits them to your smartphone via Bluetooth as soon as it is within range. The data received in the STIHL connected App is transferred to the STIHL Cloud when there is an internet connection. The data is stored there in compliance with data protection regulations. The STIHL connected App and STIHL connected Portal allow you to access your power tool data at any time. STIHL connected opens up new avenues for professional users to obtain a convenient and transparent overview of their own power tool fleet. At the same time, STIHL connected provides information including operational hours, power tool status including reminders of overdue maintenance, the last known location, and whether or not the power tools are currently nearby. For professional users, this means improved digital fleet management, more efficient processes within companies, and even closer contact with STIHL dealers. Private users can also use the system to keep an eye on their power tools and carry out maintenance at the right time.

      Gutter cleaning set

      The STIHL gutter cleaning set effectively supports homeowners, caretakers and local authorities in gutter cleaning. The set consists of a three-part blower pipe approx. 3 m in length, a straight round nozzle, two short angled pipes and fastening clamps. You can simply put the parts of the set together, connect them to the blower pipe on your STIHL blower or STIHL vacuum shredder and secure them with the clamps. Then you are ready to easily blow out leaves and dirt from gutters while standing on the ground, even in hard-to-reach places, so that rainwater can flow away unhindered again.
