Especially at the founding company in Germany, STIHL can look back on a long and successful tradition of occupational training. In recent years, established training concepts have been integrated also at STIHL sites where the local state school system does not foresee this type of training. In the United States for example, the training provided by STIHL Inc. offers many young people a unique opportunity to optimize their career prospects. And the STIHL plant in Brazil introduced occupational training according to the German system in 2013. Already in 2011, apprentice training courses were started at the STIHL plant in Qingdao, China, in cooperation with the Chamber of Foreign Trade.
